Friends of Oundle Library:
Annual General Meeting 2021
Like many groups, we didn’t have an AGM last year because of lockdown restrictions. But now we’re able to use Oundle Library again we’ve arranged our 2021 Annual General Meeting for Wednesday, 29 September at 11am.
Do please make a note of this date in your diary, and come to the meeting if you can.
Bringing back the buzz
Despite all the disruptions of the last 18 months the FOOL committee has remained active. At the AGM we’ll report back on what we’ve done and the money we raised. We’ll also tell you about our ideas for the coming year, when it will be so important for the Friends to be on hand to help Oundle Library regain its buzz.
And don’t forget, the AGM is your chance to ask questions and make suggestions – we always love hearing from you.
Energy and ideas
We’re looking for people with energy and ideas to join our small committee. It’s not onerous, so if you love Oundle Library why not get involved? The committee is there to help ensure our library succeeds, and offer support and assistance when we can. One week we might be buying glue sticks for a children’s craft activity. Another week we could be arranging a talk at the library, or helping to organise Harry Potter Book Night. It’s all good fun!
The FOOL committee also exists to represent the views of library customers in dealings with the Northamptonshire Library Service and North Northamptonshire Council. It’s an important role, especially now, after all the changes to the service and our council.
