Friends of Oundle Library
If you love having a library in Oundle, why not be a Friend?
Why be a Friend?
- It’s free!
- You’ll receive our newsletter, which is a great way to keep in touch with what’s happening at Oundle Library.
- We represent library customers and make sure their views are heard.
- A strong Friends group is a powerful demonstration that Oundle loves its library and will fight to protect it.
As a Friend you’ll receive our monthly newsletter. It’s one of the best ways to find out what’s happening at Oundle Library and what’s being planned.
Often, you’ll get advance notice of events and activities, which can be particularly useful if these are popular, such as Harry Potter Book Night.
Be a Supporter
Some of our Friends also belong to our Supporters Group and give us help when they can. For example, assisting at a library event, or helping with our Scenes Around Oundle calendar.
Supporters decide how much time they can offer, and their assistance is invaluable. The committee keeps in touch with the Supporters Group so they know what’s being planned.
If you’re already a Friend of Oundle Library we’d love you to join our Supporters Group.
Volunteers make our library tick! And if you’d like to help there are lots of different things you can do.
You can give as much, or as little of your time as you can manage. But whatever you decide to do, your contribution will be valued. And you’ll be supported at every step by library staff.
There are a variety of volunteer roles. Some need a regular commitment while others are completely flexible.
If you’d like to volunteer, please visit Oundle Library and speak to a member of staff or send a message below.
