Pay by card

A recent upgrade has propelled the self-service machine at Oundle Library into the twenty-first century! It will now take card payments, so you can pay any reservation and borrowing fees, as well as overdue charges, without having to go to the desk.

The hot drinks wizard

Have you spotted the brand-new, Lavazza hot drinks machine in the library? It’s a magnificent thing and will make a range of drinks — from cappuccinos and lattes to English Breakfast tea and hot chocolate. If you have your own travel mug the price is discounted…

Christmas Quiz winners

The FOOL Committee was delighted to provide the prizes for the library’s Christmas Quizzes. There were ten winners for the Children’s Quiz, with each child picking their prize from a Lucky Dip. And April Brown received a tin of Quality Street for winning the Adult’s Quz. Congratulations to all!

Baby Play and Rhymetime begin again

Great news! Oundle Library is reinstating weekly Baby Play and Rhymetime sessions from 10 January 2022. Baby Play (Mondays 10-11am) is for Under 1’s, and Rhymetime (Tuesdays 11-11.30am) for Under 5’s – with their parents or carers, of course! Space will be limited, so booking is essential. What are Hublets?

You may have seen the rack of purple tablets in Oundle Library’s foyer and wondered about them. They were installed during a lockdown and several people have asked us what they are and what they are for. So we’ve done some investigating to find out!
