Last year we had to cancel our annual Shakespeare event. So this year we’re celebrating the reopening of Oundle Library with a Shakespeare Quiz to mark the Bard’s birthday, and we also have some rather special craft activities for children, which are free to download.

Oundle Library reopens
We’re celebrating! As pandemic restrictions are slowly lifted, public libraries are allowed to open again. So from Monday, 12 April, we can, once again, visit Oundle Library – by appointment – to browse for books, use the public computers, or do printing and photocopying. There’s another batch of e-books and e-audiobooks being offered on the BorrowBox e-library for unlimited borrowing, which means no waiting! If you want to borrow one of these titles you just click and it’s there. And there’s something on the list for every age group.

Brightening up the library car park
If you’ve visited the library recently you may have noticed some bright new blooms in the flower bed. They were gifted to the library by Blooming Oundle – a new voluntary project that’s going to brighten up some forgotten corners of the town with plants and flowers.
