Scenes Around Oundle 2027 calendar
Our 2027 Scenes Around Oundle calendar is now on sale.
Hard to believe, but we’ve been producing the calendar every year since 2013 – which means the 2027 calendar is our fifteenth! Over the years the calendar has become a fixture on many people’s Christmas lists, often to send to friends and family living overseas. And of course, it remains an essential part of our fundraising to support Oundle Library.
It really does help
Thanks to all the local businesses who sponsor pages in the calendar, the money we raise from sales continues to fund all sorts of things at Oundle Library. For example, over the past twelve months it has paid for several children’s entertainers to visit (magic shows, storytellers, Bubble Discos etc), stationery and craft materials, prizes, refreshments, window cleaning, gardening equipment and supplies, and more.
Without the calendar none of this could have been done.
Amazing photography
The pictures in the 2027 calendar have been taken by the talented local amateur photographers who belong to Oundle u3a’s Photography and Composition Group. It’s always difficult to choose the final photos and this year was no exception. We hope we’ve achieved a good balance that conveys the beauty of Oundle, its nearby villages, scenery, landmarks and wildlife.
As Friends of Oundle Library we’re committed to helping our library thrive. A public library is a wonderful community asset – somewhere you can borrow books, attend groups and activities, use the internet, renew bus passes and Blue Badges, or (in warm weather) just sit and enjoy the garden. The calendar makes it possible for us to support the library and pay for the extras that help make Oundle Library so special.

The 2027 Scenes Around Oundle calendar costs £8.00 and can be purchased at Oundle Library, Colemans, the Oundle Bookshop, the Barn Garden Centre and Oundle Pharmacy.
We will also be selling the calendar at Oundle’s Fairtrade/EcoFair at St. Peter’s Church on Saturday, 14 November, and at Oundle Library’s Christmas Sparkle event on Saturday, 28 November.
